Nobles County is committed to supporting the needs of families and children by offering grants to both new and current child care providers. The county is excited to continue three grant programs that are available.
The Child Care Expansion and Capacity Grant, the Child Care Provider Fund Grant, and the Emergency Child Care Subsidy Grant.
The Child Care Expansion and Capacity Grant is designed to help child care providers who are looking to add new child care slots to their businesses or are in the process of starting a new child care business. This grant program provides financial support to cover costs associated with expanding the capacity of child care services.
The Child Care Provider Fund Grant is intended for both new and current providers who need assistance with different expenses that come up when running a child care program. These expenses may include repairs, playground equipment, toys, and other necessary items to provide quality child care services.
The Emergency Child Care Subsidy Grant provides short-term assistance in paying for child care for families who meet the eligibility and criteria guidelines.
To apply for any of these grants, download and fill out the application form for the appropriate grant at the bottom of this page. Once completed, the application can be submitted by email to childcaregrants@co.nobles.mn.us or by mail to:
