Appointments for Driver’s License and ID Card Applicants

Due to the new MNDRIVE system and the increase in COVID cases in Nobles County, the Nobles County License Center will be going back to appointment only to serve residents of Nobles County.

Starting November 30th, the Nobles County License Center will be doing Drivers License and ID Cards by appointment only to allow for social distancing.  All other services can be done via the mail or through the 24 hour drop box at Door #1 of the Government Center.

New appointments are added each day to the “No-Wait-Inside” appointment scheduler found at www.co.nobles.mn.us.  Appointments are available 7 (seven) days before the date so if you have a specific date in mind, you will need to wait until the date is within seven days to make an appointment.

Before your scheduled appointment, please refer to the Nobles County website to pre-apply for your Driver’s License or ID and bring your application code to your appointment along with the required documents.  For those who need to renew a Standard Driver’s License, and do not require any changes in their current information, they can now renew completely on line at www.drive.mn.gov.

Title transfers and tab renewals are only processed by mailing them to PO Box 757 or by dropping off at the drop box at Door #1 the 10th of the Government Center.  Title transfers and tab renewals are processed daily and will be mailed out to residents.  Please be sure to include your insurance information and a phone number in case more information is needed.

The staff is working hard to serve the residents of Nobles County while following the COVID-19 guidelines.  Since a photo and eye exam are required a for Driver’s License or an ID Card, we ask that appointments are used only for those services.  Please continue to mail or use our drop box for tab renewals and title work.

Please see the Motor Vehicle page below for more detailed information.
