The Nobles County Assessor’s Department is currently accepting applications to hire one of the following positions depending on qualifications:

Property Appraiser I:  Supports the daily activities of the Nobles County Assessor’s office in valuation, assessment, and administrative fields. Qualifications: high school diploma, or GED, with a minimum of one year experience in Real Estate, Carpentry, Appraisal, Administration, Accounting, or a related field. Property Appraiser: Fairly, accurately and equitable appraises property for tax assessment purposes according to state and county guidelines. Qualifications: vocational/technical diploma in Real Estate, Administration, Accounting, or a related field, with a minimum of one year of experience working under a qualified Assessor, and licensure as a CMA. Ability to obtain Income Certification within one year and AMA certification within stated guidelines.
