Emergency Management is collecting information from private property owners that received major damage from the heavy rains that we have received in June.  In the event that any assistance programs become available, the information is needed to see if the county would qualify to participate.  If Nobles County damages meet program guidelines, those programs are typically in the form of low interest loans.  Completing the survey only provides Nobles County with the information they need to determine if county residents impacted by the heavy rains are eligible for any programs, it does not serve as an application for any assistance.  Private property owners who had structural damage to the foundation or walls in their basements, or lost heating and cooling units, or had electrical damage are encouraged to complete the survey.  The survey will be available until August 10th and can be found at the link below.
