Merit Applications will be accepted for future openings in the Nobles County Community Services Agency for the following positions:

Eligibility Worker:  The purpose of this position is to apply program eligibility criteria to individual client situations and facilitates applicant eligibility for available state and federal program assistance with the Nobles County Community Services Department.  Full-time   FLSA:  Non-exempt  $19.07/hour

Office Support Specialist:  The purpose of this position is to serve as the initial Community Services contact representative for the general public and provide clerical and administrative support for the staff of the Department.   Full-time   FLSA:  Non-exempt  $16.98/hour

Public Health Nurse Supervisor – Community Services

Full-Time    FLSA:  Exempt

Level 16, Pay Rate $64,654.72 – $81,477.71/Annual

Purpose:  The Public Health Nurse Supervisor is responsible for nursing supervision, administering health program operations in a diverse community, public relations and fiscal responsibilities in the areas of public health, prevention, education, environmental health, infectious disease, and disaster preparedness.

Temporary Assistants – Auditor/Treasurer’s Office – 3 positions

Temporary – 3 positions will be hired to work a maximum of 67 days each.  Individuals will start at staggered times of June 1, August 1, and September 1, 2018.

$12.00/hour; +$.50/hour for second year

Purpose:  Provide assistance in the Auditor-Treasurer Office during election and tax collection peek periods.

Law Clerk – County Attorney’s Office – Temporary

Purpose: The purpose of this position is obtain assistance with overflow legal work in the office while mentoring a student certification eligible law student who is interested in public service and/or rural practice of law. The student lawyer would assist lawyers and staff in processing of certain cases.
