Mechanic – Public Works Department

Level 11  Pay Rate $24.47/Hour

Purpose:   This position inspects, diagnoses, repairs, completes preventative maintenance duties for vehicles and equipment, including small engine through heavy highway maintenance equipment.

DPS-DVS reopened 16 exam stations on May 18. These include: St. Paul, Arden Hills, Anoka, Eagan, Plymouth, Rochester, Mankato, Fairmont (opening May 26 for road tests only), Marshall, Willmar, Detroit Lakes, St. Cloud, Brainerd, Duluth, Grand Rapids, and Bemidji. Please visit one of those locations for testing services.

Purpose:  Provides administrative support to the Auditor/Treasurer’s office for Nobles County.  Work includes clerical accounting, record keeping, tracking funds, maintaining files, election preparation, assisting customers and general office support.

Summer Assistant – Library

Temporary/Seasonal – part-time position working up to 150 hours from approximately late May through mid-August of 2020

$13.50/hour; +$.50/hour for second year

Purpose:  This position assists the library personnel in the day-to-day operations at the Nobles County Library in the Youth area.

Purpose:  The purpose of the Deputy Sheriff is to protect the lives and property of Nobles County through the enforcement of laws and ordinances.  Duties include:  patrol service, investigate criminal and non-criminal activities, manage traffic incidents, special assignments, reports, and perform other duties as assigned.
