The Administration Office provides leadership to ensure that the policies of the Board of Commissioners of Nobles County are implemented. This office also oversees Human Resources for Nobles County, Employment within the County, and various other administrative duties for the County.
The Assessor's Office is responsible for the appraisal of all real estate, personal property and mobile homes; determining the fair market value and classification of property based upon its use.
The Nobles County Attorney is elected by Nobles County voters. The Nobles County Attorney’s Office provides service and has responsibilities prescribed by Minnesota state statutes.
The Nobles County Auditor-Treasurer has responsibilities for the following areas in Nobles County: Finance, Property Taxes, Deputy Registrar of Motor Vehicles, and Chief County Election Official.
Community Services houses Community Corrections, Community Health Services and Family Services departments of Nobles County.
The Nobles County Emergency Management Director administers a county-wide emergency management program for areas that need such a program.
The Extension Service is the coordinator for the local 4-H chapter, and focuses on the following areas. Community: census, economic development, diversity, leadership, public policy, technology, tourism. Environment: conservation, forests, natural environmental.
The Nobles County Library is located at 407 12th St., on the corner of 12th Stree and 4th Avenue in Worthington, Minnesota.
Nobles County Public Works overseas the following aspects for Nobles County. Parks: parks rules & permits, maintaining all county parks. Environmental Services: land use, permits, hazardous waste, waste disposal, recycling, and more. Maintenance/Highway: county road and highway maintenance and snow removal. Engineering: section corners, oversees new projects, accepts project bids, and more.
The County Recorder is the custodian of all records of the county pertaining to property titles and transfers.
The Nobles County Sheriff's Department provides police services to the following communities in Nobles County: Bigelow, Brewster, Dundee, Ellsworth, Kinbrae, Leota, Lismore, Round Lake, Rushmore and Wilmont.
